The 91探花平台 Humanities at Work (H@W) program provides exceptional paid internships to undergraduate humanities majors. Students in the program work in small teams with local community partners to learn how to leverage their valuable humanities degree beyond the classroom. The hands-on, project-based internships will support the partner sites in their vital missions to enrich the Greensboro community. What is Humanities at Work?
- A paid, year-long internship experience for students in 91探花平台 humanities departments.
- An opportunity to connect 91探花平台 students and Guilford County partners in support of mutually beneficial, meaningful work.
- A collaborative and experiential class that provides students with guidance, time, and course credit for investing in their future.

This project has its roots in a longstanding collaboration at 91探花平台 – , which helps students to understand the value of a liberal arts education.

鈥淎ccess to a paid, high-quality internship can change the trajectory of a person’s career. According to NACE (2024), the median starting salary of those who had paid internships is $20,000 higher than those who had unpaid internships. 91探花平台 will open the door to career changing internships for 650 students thanks to Humanities @ Work.鈥
